Emo Photoshop Brushes

Emo is a style of rock music. It originated in the mid-1980s hardcore punk movement of Washington, D.C., where it was known as "emotional hardcore" or "emocore" and pioneered by bands such as Rites of Spring and Embrace.

Today emo is commonly tied to both music and fashion as well as the emo subculture. The emo fashion is recognized for its hairstyles which is most times straightened and dyed black. Popular looks include long side-swept bangs, sometimes covering one or both eyes...(source wikipedia)

Emo has been associated with a stereotype that includes being particularly emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted, or angst-ridden. It has also been associated with depression, self-injury, and suicide.

As I was feeling a little depressed lately I have decided to make a list with dark, emo style Photoshop brushes. Dark angels and skulls, sad music lyrics, blood, broken hearts are just few of the symbols found in this collection. I hope you will take all the anger and sadness inside of you and transpose it into art!
